Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve written anything here. Well now I’m back to bring you shameless self promotion! Whooo!
My band has been working hard to put some decent quality demos together to help promote ourselves and get some gigs. We’re going to be posting them to our website http://www.farfromtheremusic.com/ as we finish with them and I’ll continue to give each of them a mention here as well. These are all recorded an mixed by us without the use of a studio so they aren’t the greatest quality but I think all things considered they’re coming out pretty well.

This is one of the first songs we put together. Jeff wrote it although it’s been through a lot revisions from input from the rest of the band since he originally showed it to us. It really builds now. Jeff already had the bass part for the verse worked out when he showed us the song and I still play that exactly the same way. It’s a simple but fits perfectly. In fact I liked it so much I ripped it off for my chorus part as well.
